The Bangkok Audiophile and Videophile show on July 31, 2010 was fantastic! Steve Surachade, our distributor, took very good care of us in Thailand and i get to sing "Saichon", a beautiful Thai love song in Bossa Nova together with the warm hospitality (and glorious food, i even brought some green curry paste home) that is so Thai. There was also and interview with Tham Loon, the columnist/emcee for the Videophile magazine. A great experience!
August started with an amazing 4 days sharing the stage with all the best Jazz musicians in town . First up was a show at the launching of Double Tree Hilton at the new KL's skyscraper The InterMark with the international version of Asiabeat led by Lewis Pragasm, drums (Malaysia), Stu MacAskie, piano(USA), Hiroake Maekawa, double bass(Japan), Christophe Turchi, sax(France) and me (Phil). Magnificent show!
Next was the send-off Go!Arthur show at No Black Tie with international jazz fusion pianist Boy Katindig with another fantastic line up. It was kicking 3 nights of Jazz Fusion...what a weekend!
